Known as "The City by the Bay", San Francisco is the gem of the San Francisco Bay area which has a metropolitan population of over 7 million people. Known for its seven hills (anything over 100 feet), cable cars, Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf and Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco is also referred to as "Everybody's Favorite City".
